SEPTEMBRA
LESANE
FOUNDER & ATHLETE ADVISOR
Septembra LeSane is an attorney, athlete advocate, and entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of sports, philanthropy, branding, entertainment, and long-term athlete development. Her journey in sports began in 2013 through The Educated Athlete, a youth sports initiative under The LeSane Project, Inc. focused on mentoring college-bound student-athletes and teaching them the business of sports.
Over the years, Septembra has worked with more than 50 high school student-athletes, helping guide them through recruitment, branding, mentorship, academic preparation, and personal development. Her work has also included philanthropy and community-focused initiatives alongside athletes and public figures, including former NFL player Rashard Robinson.
Through her mentorship and community work, Septembra has hosted sports education workshops for student-athletes and their families, organized charity events including flag football tournaments and youth field days, and created public speaking and leadership opportunities designed to help athletes build confidence both on and off the court/field. Her work centers on preparing athletes not only for competition, but for life, business, and long-term impact beyond sports.
In addition to her work in sports, Septembra has experience in entertainment, intellectual property, and sports-related legal matters, with prior involvement in projects and legal work connected to artists and entertainers such as Kash Doll, XXXTentacion, Desiigner, and other creatives within the entertainment industry. Her background across both sports and entertainment continues to shape her approach to athlete branding, NIL strategy, and long-term career development.
Septembra graduated cum laude from Florida A&M University with a degree in Political Science before earning a Master of Science in Entertainment Business and Sports Management from Full Sail University. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law in 2019.
She was previously licensed as an NFLPA Contract Advisor and continues to focus her work on athlete advocacy, philanthropy, branding strategy, and helping athletes build sustainable legacies beyond the game.
